UPPER PENINSULA -- A low pressure system will send a couple of cold fronts across the Upper Peninsula over the next few days.  The first frontal passage is expected Sunday overnight into Monday.

With the colder air mass in place, we can expect below normal temperatures throughout the next week.

Highs will be near 50 degrees on Monday with lingering rain showers during the morning hours becoming partly cloudy later.

Then the next cold front passes through later on Monday night.  With little moisture associated with this front, we're not expecting any rainfall from it.

This cold front will drop our highs into the 40s and the lows into the lower 30s.  With temperatures this cold, frozen precipitation, even snow, will become a concern later on in the week if the lake effect begins to activate behind subsequent passing low pressure systems.
