Austin Patton, 23, of Hancock appeared in Houghton County District Court Wednesday
HOUGHTON -- A 23-year-old man was arraigned on Wednesday in Houghton County District Court. Austin Patton of Hancock was arrested last Thursday after a search warrant was issued at a home in Hancock.
During the search, officers found large amounts of illegal substances, growing supplies and a quantity of marijuana.
Patton was arraigned on charges of possession of marijuana. Lab results are still pending on other substances that were found and additional charges may be brought on.
"You're to take a blood, breath and urine analysis at the request of a police officer or court officer," said Judge Mark Wisti. "If you refuse the test or flunk the test, that's going to be a violation of your bond conditions and it is my policy to revoke bond. So no drinking and no drugging while you're on bond, got that?"
"Yes sir," Patton responded.
A pretrial is expected to begin in two weeks.
