ISHPEMING -- The nominations are in.  You've decided the top five places to get a burger in the U.P.

Our first nominee is the Oasis Grill on Third St. in Ishpeming.  The restaurant is less than a year old but has gotten a lot of attention for its Southwestern-style Nevada burger.

The burger is made up of a quarter pound, all beef patty on a Huron bakery roll, with a punch of flavor coming from a combination of red, green, and jalapeno peppers, along with white and red onions. The Nevada burger also features pepper jack cheese, Texas tooth picks, and most importantly, a jalapeno bacon ranch dressing.

Oasis cook Ivan Talo says, "The main thing is the sauce, everyone loves the sauce, not only on the burger; people get to dip their fries in and chicken fingers.  People love the sauce, the JBR sauce."
