MARQUETTE -- U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow gave the keynote address to the Economic Club of Marquette County on Wednesday morning.

She talked about the Upper Peninsula's forest products industry.

She also plans to meet with senior citizens in Negaunee and will be at a farm in Rapid River Wednesday afternoon.

The Lansing Democrat is the chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
