MICHIGAMME -- Sunday afternoon, the Michigamme Moonshine Art Gallery celebrated its success with the opening of its 'Ten Years of Art' exhibit.  The exhibit features artists that have exhibited with the Moonshine Art Gallery over the years.

More than 20 area artists are displaying their work, and they each have their own unique talents to share.

"I get my inspiration from the natural surroundings, and what I do is I don't try to compete with nature, but I try to embellish it or use my imagination with nature," says artist Brock Powell.

The exhibit runs through September 17.  Gallery hours are Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesdays by appointment.
