AMBERG, WISCONSIN -- A 15-year-old girl lost her life in a house fire in Amberg, Wisconsin early Thursday morning.

The victim's identity has not been released yet.  Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to the Marinette County Sheriff's office.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this point.  An investigation is underway.

Several fire departments and law enforcement agencies responded to the blaze which was reported at 5:54 a.m. on Thursday.
