It's become an annual tradition that Marquette County motorcycle riders do out of the goodness of their heart
LITTLE LAKE -- Saturday, the Harley Owners Group hosted its 25th annual motorcycle raffle benefitting Bay Cliff Health Camp at the American Legion in Little Lake.
The 2011 Harley Heritage Softtail was won by a Mount Pleasant man who wasn't in attendance.
In addition to the bike show, organizers say this fundraiser leaves everyone smiling, except maybe those who really wanted to win that brand new bike.
"We go to Bay Cliff as a group, and we spend a day with the kids, and just to see the kids makes your day--the smiles on their faces, the gratitude--and it just makes your day," says member Joe Kerekes.
"Going to camp is really fun," says fifth year camper Nathan Bruchman. "It kind of feels important to be here. It's kind of cool to be around the bikes."
The Harley Owners Group will present a check at Bay Cliff Health Camp on August 24.
They typically raise around $80,000.
