NEGAUNEE -- Proud Negaunee Miners had the chance to come back to their old stomping grounds Friday at Negaunee High School.

Alumni were able to catch up with old friends, take a look at the new state of the art auditorium, and pick up some Miner gear at Friday's open house.

Pioneer Days is this weekend, which brings many Negaunee natives back home.

"We're all proud of Negaunee," said Lani Duquette of the Negaunee Alumni Association.  "I've literally travelled the world with my father and in the Air Force, but there's only one place I want to live and that's Negaunee, and I'm proud to be a Miner."

The school will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this fall.
