MARQUETTE -- Registration is now underway for the 21st annual Tour Da U.P. bike marathon.
The U.P. tradition raises funds for the Teaching Family Homes organization, a group aiding abused and neglected children.
Organizers say the $400 entry fee will help improve the campus facilities, including trails and renovating buildings.
"It's a great, healthy environment," said Richard Rossway of Teaching Family Homes. "You're going to find some camaraderie, you're going to meet some friends along the way. And plus, you're doing it for a great cause. I think you'll learn a lot more about our organization and ways to really help people in need."
Bikers looking for a shorter trip may sign up for the one-day tour from Marquette to Munising, August 7.
To register for either the five-day or one-day event, head to the Tour Da U.P. website.
