HURLEY, WI -- A Hurley, Wisconsin man has been arrested and charged in a drug bust.

According to the Hurley Police Department, his arrest was the result of a warranted search done by the Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotic Team, also known as GIANT.  The search and arrest happened Wednesday afternoon.

The 50-year-old suspect is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Narcotic.

Further details on the case will be released after his appearance in court.  That is expected to be done some time on Thursday.

GIANT is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force.  It is made up of officers from the Hurley Police Department, Ironwood Public Safety, Iron County Sheriff's Department, Gogebic County Sheriff's Department and the Lac Vieux Desert Police Department.
