WHITE PINE -- A spaghetti dinner benefit has been planned to help an Ontonagon County family who lost their home in an electrical fire last week.

The Konteka Resort will host the fund-raiser Monday, June 27.  All of the money from the event will go to Carol, Diane and Clara Paulsen, who lost everything when their log cabin home caught fire last Wednesday morning.

Friends from the United Methodist Church in White Pine will run a bake sale during the dinner.

"This church and this community are very loving and giving; whenever anything happens that needs our help, they just step up," said Rev. Rosemary DeHut, United Methodist Pastor.  "It doesn't have to be my leadership at all, it's usually someone from the church that will call and say we need to help this person."

The dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.  Anyone who attends is asked to make a donation to the family.
