IRON MOUNTAIN -- A 22-year-old Iron Mountain man has been taken into custody for allegedly exposing himself to a female Central Elementary School student.

There was no physical contact.

The incident was reported just after 9:30 Monday morning at the end of the year school picnic at City Park.

Iron Mountain police found the suspect hiding in the woods and arrested him after a short foot chase.

He was arrested for indecent exposure and resisting and obstructing an officer.

His name is not being released until after his arraignment.
