MANISTIQUE -- A Manistique man is going to jail on firearms charges after shooting at another vehicle last year.

Karl Ray Schnurer, 44, plead guilty to four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

He was arrested and charged in an incident last year in which he shot at another vehicle.  A bullet went through the clothes of a 13-year-old boy, but he was not hurt.

Schnurer will serve 12 months in jail, with credit for 26 days already served.

He'll also serve 24 months probation.
