Here are some of the stories we're covering today.
Tonight on the Early News, we'll be continuing our series from Lansing, "Who's Working for You?" Tonight, Kelly Gibbs sits down with first term state representative Matt Huuki who's making the transition from small-town businessman to legislator. Kelly asks him about his hopes to bring more common-sense, Yooper values to the state Capitol.
Also on the Early News, Meagan Quigley will have a report on the benefits of keeping medical patients here in the U.P., as opposed to have them travel elsewhere for care.
On TV6 News Tonight, a meeting of the American Association of University Professors today at NMU will bring up the question of labor unrest and unions. Noel McLaren will have that report, Up Close.
Also on TV6 News Tonight, the latest ski conditions around the U.P. on the Ski Report, along with our High Tech Report.
