IRON RIVER -- A Wisconsin man will be back in a Michigan court in March.
In January of this year, 26-year-old Jacob Henning of Tipler, Wisconsin allegedly assaulted a man in Iron River Township, hitting him with a blunt object.
Henning fled the scene and was later arrested in Florence County, Wisconsin.
The 33-year-old victim had to be hospitalized.
Henning was charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), and aggravated assault.
After being arraigned in District Court on January 27, his case was bound over to Iron County Circuit Court.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for March 21.
