MARQUETTE -- It's been a successful year, and the Upper Peninsula Family Solutions is celebrating.
    
U.P.F.S. provides adoption, foster care, and counseling services throughout the U.P.

With 10 employees and over 20 foster care homes in the region, Upper Peninsula Family Solutions has grown quickly.  Friday, they celebrated with an open house and ribbon cutting.

"We just feel like we have our feet on the ground and that we're off and running and we're just in a lot better spot right now and wanted to celebrate our first year of successful business here in Marquette," said Executive Director, Rick Sanville.

The Lake Superior Community Partnership also helped host the event.
