MARQUETTE -- Volunteers with AARP are providing free tax aid for taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those 60 and older.

Help will be offered at the Marquette Senior Center, but an appointment is required.

Assistance will include e-filing for state and federal taxes.

"We are all volunteers that are trained by AARP and the IRS and certified to do taxes," said volunteer Kathleen Lakenen.
