MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The 13^th annual Noquemanon Ski Marathon is this Saturday, and time is running out to pre-register.

Organizers say numbers for this year's race are the highest they've ever been at this date.

So far, 1,150 skiers are registered to participate in the race, and due to the high number of applicants, online registration will close early.

"Registration does close tonight online at midnight, and then to register for the race, you need to come to the Superior Dome on Friday between 5:30 and 10 p.m. to register," said Nicole Dewald, Race Coordinator.

Organizers also caution that the race will only allow 1,350 skiers.
