Waiting area bathrooms

SAWYER -- Sawyer International Airport recently made a small, but important, addition to their terminal:  bathrooms.

The airport recently installed bathrooms in its waiting area, but previously, passengers had to leave the terminal waiting area to use the restrooms, creating a problem for TSA officials and posing possible security risks.

The installation of the new bathrooms took about 60 days, and they were built by Closner Construction.

"We feel this was a wonderful convenience for all the people traveling.  It will make things a lot more comfortable as you're sitting here waiting and simplify your travel, and we're really hopeful it will be well received by everyone," said Director of Operations Scott Erbisch.

The waiting area bathrooms have been operational for the past week.
