Here are some of the stories we're covering today.

Tonight on the Early News with Steve Asplund, we'll  be talking to former Congressman Bart Stupak who, you might recall, faced threats last year after his vote on the health care reform bill. Aaron Martin will be talking to Stupak about those threats and how he feels about last weekend's shooting rampage in Tucson that seriously wounded Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Also on the Early News, Noel McLaren visits Hiawatha Log Homes in Alger County as part of our "Cool Counties" campaign. The company had previously shut down in tough economic times, but was then re-opened. Noel will tell you how it's doing.

On TV6 News Tonight with Greg Trick, we feature an Up Close segment with Ashley Palumbo in which she tells us when you have to start worrying about clearing the snow off your roof and how to do it. We'll also give you an updated Ski Report on ski hills around the UP, and your first look at the building of the snow statues at Michigan Tech.

And of course, Karl Bohnak will tell us on all the newscasts whether any more snow is coming our way.

We'll see you on the news tonight.
