EWEN -- An elderly Ewen man is dead after a house fire Sunday morning.
    
According to the Ontonagon County Sheriff's Department, the structure fire was called in at 9:25.

The home, located at 11127 Polvi Road, was almost completely destroyed by the time fire was found.
    
The body of 80-year-old Royce "Russel" Peterson was found inside the home.
    
The Michigan State Fire Marshall has ruled the blaze as accidental.
