MARQUETTE -- A holiday open house was held in honor of the opening of the Winter Wonderland Walk.

More than 50 trees were decorated by various organizations around the community including Girl Scout troops, school classes, and many others.

And these aren't your average Christmas trees; all of the trees on display have a unique theme.

"This year we decided to have the whole council, all of the girls, try and do 99 good deeds starting on October 1st of this year, and this is all of the good deeds that we did," says Caitlin Wright of Girl Scout Troop 550.  "We all just wrote them down, we kept journals with us, and we turned them into ornaments, and now it's a gorgeous tree."

The Winter Wonderland Walk will be set up until after the new year.
