ISHPEMING -- Over 50 people came out to the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce's first sponsored Business After Hours event.
Wednesday night's after hours was sponsored by Country Grill in Ishpeming.
It's an opportunity for local business owners to network and support one another.
Michelle Lamere of Country Grill says she's hoping the event will help showcase her restaurant.
"Last year at this time we reintroduced the Country Kitchen as the new Country Grill; we dropped the franchise, and it's kind of our one year anniversary, so it's a good way to kick off our anniversary by having a business after hours and kind of kicking off the chamber as well," explains Lamere.
It was also a chance for chamber members to get to know one another and for prospective members to learn more about what the chamber is all about.
