MARQUETTE -- It's a night of artwork, drinks, and, yes, even a cabaret.

It's called "From Your Walls to Mine" and it's presented by the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum, which is currently housing the artwork for sale.

The night is a previously-owned original art sale and cabaret complete with a silent and live auction of original art with auctioneer Joey Black.

The John Lennon piece created by local artist Dan Cook will also be a part of the evening.

The event will take place October 3 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Upfront and Company.

"Events like this oftentimes give us our unrestricted money, so it's just money that we can use to pay the light bill to pay the energy bills, to keep the doors open and all the smiles on kids faces," said U.P. Children's Museum Founder and Director, Nheena Wyer-Ittner.

Tickets are $10 per person.
