Could face prison time if convicted of drug charges

ESCANABA -- An Escanaba woman could face prison time if convicted of drug charges.
    
Monday night, 33-year-old Shannon Stevenson was arrested after authorities say they discovered heroin in her purse during a traffic stop.
    
Later, after searching her home, authorities discovered evidence of drug sales.
    
At her arraignment Tuesday, Stevenson was charged with delivery, manufacturing of a controlled substance, less than fifty grams.
    
Her preliminary examination is scheduled for September 14.
