ESCANABA -- Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the debris fire at the coal docks Wednesday afternoon in Escanaba.

Escanaba Public Safety says a pile of old railroad ties caught on fire around 4 p.m.

Ford River Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the scene.  Crews battled the blaze for over two hours.

Officials say no one was injured and no structures were damaged.
