GLADSTONE -- A familiar name is hoping to represent the 108th District in Lansing next year.
Gladstone resident Mike Falcon announced he is running for the State House of Representatives as a Republican. He made stops in Menominee, Iron Mountain and Escanaba Thursday to announce his candidacy.
Falcon is a Gulf War veteran who refers to himself as a Republican that puts the people first.
He plans to clean up Lansing if elected and stressed the importance of all sides working together so progress can be made on some of the key issues facing Michigan.
Falcon, along with four other Republicans, are vying for the seat currently held by Democrat Judy Nerat.
