MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Cliffs Natural Resources is off to a strong start to the year.  The company announced first quarter results Wednesday.

Revenues were $727.7 million; that's a 57 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year.

Cliffs says the increase was driven by higher pricing and a rebounding global demand for steelmaking raw materials.
