ISHPEMING -- Ishpeming Police and Bell EMS responded to a fire at Townsquare Apartments around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A balcony fire in unit B207 did not result in any injuries or fatalities.

There was also no damage to the interior of the apartment complex.

Authorities believe the cause of the fire was the result of careless use of smoking materials.
