ESCANABA -- Tom Casperson is running for State Senate.

Casperson is a former State Representative for the 108th District in the Southern U.P.

Casperson kicked off his campaign in Escanaba Monday morning with stops in Iron Mountain, Houghton and Marquette Monday afternoon.

Casperson says his campaign is centered on common sense.
