MARQUETTE -- Diners got a taste of Poland Sunday at the 7th annual "Share Your Love" dinner.

Traditional Polish cuisine, such as stuffed cabbage, pierogies, sauerkraut, dill pickle soup, and dessert, were just a few of the choices on the menu.

Diners were entertained by members of N.M.U.'s International Dance Club.

But Sunday's dinner wasn't just about the food.  All of the proceeds will help to support the Kutno Orphanage outside of Warsaw and the American Polish Assistance Association.

Chris Kibit of the Polish American Society says, "I know there's a need over there because I saw it firsthand when my wife and I went over there for three weeks.  Plus, part of our goal as an organization of the Polish American Society of Northern Michigan is to support our heritage, our homeland, anything we can do, and the children are very important to us."

Over the past six years, the group has raised nearly $10,000 to support the children.
