Big Powderhorn skier accident has been confirmed fatal

BESSEMER -- A fatal accident at Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort occurred on Sunday.

The Associated Press reports that a skier died when he hit a tree at the resort.

According to management at the ski hill the accident occurred at 11:00 Sunday morning.

The person's name has not been released.
