WELLS TWP. -- A January sentencing date is set for a Wells Township man who was arrested and charged after allegedly stealing a car in October.

Terris Anderson had come within inches of a patrol car as he passed.

Last week, Anderson pled guilty to use of a controlled substance and to operating while intoxicated.

Other charges against him were dropped.

He will be sentenced on January 25.
