Many people are ambitious enough to try and create their own Christmas décor.
MARQUETTE -- Festive decorations have become a large part of the holiday season. Many people are ambitious enough to try and create their own Christmas décor.
Community members came to the Moosewood Nature Center in Marquette on Sunday to make holiday wreaths and garlands out of recycled pine and cedar branches.
"This is just a good opportunity for the community to come out, spend some time with their families doing holiday-oriented activities and to revisit the center and use their membership," said Amanda Grifka, naturalist.
Staff members were on hand to answer any questions and help construct the wreaths.
This has become an annual event for the center.
