MARQUETTE -- If you're a hockey fan and you want to help out the NMU Hockey Team, this may interest you.

The NMU Hockey Team is holding a silent auction at the Berry Event Center this Friday.

You'll be able to bid on anything from golf packages to hotel stays to jewelry to Official N.H.L. All Star Game memorabilia.

All the proceeds will go to support the Wildcats Hockey Team.

"What it's turned into is everybody helps out, everybody's got a circle of influence--they have in Marquette or the surrounding area--and they'll make a couple calls for me and that leads into a couple people volunteering to bring somemore stuff in.  You end up with an army of people that want to help out," said John Kyle, Assistant Coach.

If you want to help out and maybe pick up one of those great auction items, go to the game this Friday at the Berry Event Center.

You can take a look at what's available before the game and during the first two periods of the game.  Bidding closes down after the second period.
