HANCOCK -- The change in the weather might not have people thinking about roof rakes today as much as they were last week.

But the Hancock High School metal shop still fabricated 60 rakes today to fill the back orders at Frank's True Value in downtown Hancock.

Frank's has sold the metal shop's' roof rakes for the past decade, giving the school all the profits.

The program uses the money to buy new equipment for the shop.

"Anything to help the community I guess.  There's a lot of snow out there.  You see them outside someone's house and you see that tag on there, it says Hancock; it's pretty cool," said Bob Harry a senior at Hancock.

The roof rakes cost $42 and can be purchased at Frank's and the Hancock High School.
