ESCANABA -- A Spaulding man will spend the next few months of his life behind bars for malicious destruction of property.

Twenty-three-year-old Brian Young was sentenced to 3 months in jail, 12 months probation and over $5,000 in restitution.

Back in August, Young vandalized a home in Escanaba.  He plead guilty to the charge early last month.

Young will be credited for five days already spent in the Delta County Jail.
