MUNISING -- Saturday's forecast may have put the brakes on some people's plans to hit the snowmobile trails.

Only a few of the machines were seen around Munising Saturday afternoon, which is usually a hot spot for the sport.

One group of snowmobilers visiting from Wisconsin say even though the weather isn't ideal, it's still great to get out and ride.

"The trails yesterday (Friday) were really good considering the weather, so they were actually pretty excellent last night," says Brian Austin of Wisconsin.  "Today (Saturday) we haven't been out much yet, but we're expecting them to not be so good because it's so warm."

Austin says he's been coming up to the U.P. to snowmobile for more than 15 years.
