STEPHENSON -- Officials are still investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the Napa Auto Store in Stephenson on Friday night. It happened around 5 p.m.

There were no injuries reported. Fire officials say there were oxygen tanks and bulk oil where the fire started. There were also explosions that were caused by the fire.

“It's the only auto parts store for 20 miles, really, in any direction,” says Stephenson Fire Chief, Brian White. “It was a family-owned business. There was a law office here besides the auto parts store and a consignment store in the back.”

On Monday, the state inspector was at the scene picking through the rubble to find where the fire started and why.
