Ewen man in jail for alleged assault and domestic violence

EWEN -- A 65-year-old Ewen man is in custody after being arrested on felonious assault and domestic violence charges.

The Michigan State Police of the Wakefield Post were called to a disturbance Monday in Ewen.

The man allegedly pointed a handgun at his wife during a domestic disturbance. Police seized a shotgun, two rifles and a handgun during their investigation of the incident.

The man is lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
