MARQUETTE -- Residents of the Beacon House in Marquette got a taste of Thanksgiving a little early Thursday night.

Staff and volunteer chefs helped prepare a feast with turkey and all the trimmings.  All of the food was donated from hospitals throughout Marquette and Houghton counties.

This is the second year for the event and organizers say it's a way to give the residence a home cooked Thanksgiving meal they can enjoy for free.

The Beacon House is always looking for donations of supplies as well, including paper products and cleaning supplies.
