HANNAHVILLE -- Hannahville Tribal Police are still investigating a fatal car versus pedestrian crash that happened late Monday night on Hannahville B1 Road.

Police say officers found a 28-year-old man lying in the road conscious but unresponsive. The victim died while being transported to Marquette General Hospital.

Police say the driver was distracted by an oncoming vehicle and didn't see the victim lying in the road. The driver was tested and released.

The names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.
