Deadly ORV crash

CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP -- A Marquette man was found unresponsive under a four-wheeler on North Fence River Road in Crystal Falls Township on Saturday, November 3.

The Iron County Sheriff's office says when 69-year-old David Pansier lost control of his four-wheeler, he was thrown from the ORV and it rolled on top of him.

Officials say Paniser was prounced dead at the scene.

The Iron County Sheriff's office says Pansier had been drinking and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Northstar EMS and the Jacobs Plowe Funeral Home of Crystal Falls.
