L'ANSE -- Halloween may be over, but there is still a haunted house at the Whirl-I-Gig bowling alley in L'Anse, guaranteed to give you a good scare.
This weekend, kids of all ages are invited to the Whirl-I-Gig for a story book-themed haunted house. It takes three weeks of preparation and over 40 workers to turn the first floor into a maze of horror.
"This is the best haunted house atriums," said Youth of Baraga County President, Tim Usimaki. "I've been to quite a few haunted houses, and we've gotten really good reviews from everybody that comes. We've had people come from Marquette and Escanaba, Calumet. They'll travel to this haunted house because it's a good time."
The money made from the haunted house will go towards a new teen center in Baraga County.
There's a $5 entry fee, or you can purchase an all-night pass for $10. If you're interested, the haunted house will be open this Friday and Saturday night starting at 7 p.m.
