The Wednesday morning commute for some in the U.P. may be a bit tricky so taking a little extra time may be a good idea for their drive.

Snow has fallen in portions of Baraga, Marquette, Alger, Luce and Schoolcraft counties.  In these areas, roads are slushy and snowy, so motorists should use extra caution.

Other regions that may have picked up rain should stay on the alert for possible icy roads and be ready for quickly changing road conditions.

For those planning on heading to the lower peninsula, the Mackinac Bridge still has high wind warnings posted.
