IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Great Start Dickinson-Iron Collaborative is having a meet-and-greet event Saturday in Iron Mountain. The event will be at Moose Jackson Cafe from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will feature several local candidates for this upcoming November 6 election.
Organizers say the event is for parents to have quality time with potential candidates and be able to choose the best candidate they feel puts our children and our futures first.
"We want the election to be focused on children, so we put children first. We look at children as economic development. They're our future business owners, entrepreneurs, they are our future," said event organizers.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event.
