HOUGHTON -- Downtown Houghton is getting into the Halloween spirit. Friday, October 26, is the Fourth Annual Treat Street.

Kids can expect a haunted house, free reflective goody bags, and a lot of candy. The downtown community wants to give kids a safe place to trick or treat.

"We don't get a lot of chances to give back like this in the community, so it's good for us, and it's good for them. We love doing it.  It's our third or fourth one. The kids love it, we love it, and we have a good time," said Lieutenant Nick Roberts of the Houghton City Police Department.

The fun starts Friday, October 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in downtown Houghton.  The first 50 kids will receive a special prize from the Houghton City Police Department.
