NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- The political world will be watching Thursday night as Democratic Vice President Joe Biden will face off against Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan in the first and only VP debate. Political pundits have commented that Biden might have a slight advantage with his years of experience. This will be Paul Ryan's first national debate.
Polls indicate that Mitt Romney and the Republican party enjoyed a momentum shift after the last debate. With this being the only time Biden and Ryan will face each other, both candidates will have a lot of topics to cover.
"Well, I think one of the big issues, once again, will be the economy, unemployment. I think there will be talk of foreign policy, that's become a larger issue in this campaign, certainly Medicare, Obama care," said retired NMU Professor of Political Science Dr. Robert Kulisheck. "All these various, different issues that people are concerned about will be addressed this evening."
Thursday night's debate will be at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Make sure you join our conversation on Facebook and Twitter during the debate which starts at 9 p.m.
