MARQUETTE -- Gianna Jessen, an abortion survivor and pro-life activist, was a guest speaker at the Marquette Care Clinic's annual fundraising banquet.  The Care Clinic caters to pregnant women in crisis.

Jessen was here to share her story.

Her mother was 17 years old when she decided to have a saline abortion.  Jessen's life was spared because the abortionist wasn't there.  Her message for women questioning their pregnancy is, before making a decision, remember there's always help available.

"I would hope she would understand her own value and that of her unborn child.  Just know that something that may feel so desperate at the moment can be turned into something so incredibly beautiful," said Jessen.
