HOUGHTON -- Those were just a few of the questions answered by four major companies who contribute to forest production and employ hundreds of residents throughout the area.

The informational event was put on by the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce.

"This is more of an informational type meeting just to let people know what's going on," said chamber director Glen Toksdork. "You see, all these log trucks go down the road, and this might fill people in to where these trucks come from and which companies are involved behind them. How did these companies get here and what the future may look like for our tour products industry."

During the presentation, the companies said a lot of the profit stays within the community, and the logging industry is picking back up with a lot of room to grow. This includes bringing more jobs to the Copper Country.
